Most trainers are scared to tell their clients that but it's the reality of how the human body works...
Here are some of my biggest pieces of advice if you are looking to find lasting results:
Start with just 5 minutes per day...
Go for a 5 minute walk, do jumping jacks and pushups for 5 minutes, do a 5 minute circuit at home, go to the gym and do a 5 minute workout... But just start with 5 minutes
You might think I'm crazy... What can you really accomplish in 5 minutes?
The goal is not to get results from a 5 minute workout...
The goal is to build lifelong daily habits that don't burn you out or cause you to stop exercising...
Once 5 minutes becomes easy and sustainable, increase it to 10 minutes, then 30 and so on...
When you look back you will realize that no single 5 minute workout had a significant contribution to your goals or physique...
It was the collection and compound effect of starting with just 5 minutes, and remaining consistent!
