The Biggest Mistake I see
I see lots of mistakes made in the gym every single day when it comes to form, dealing with injuries, exercise selections, not warming up, programming, and so much more...
But as a trainer the #1 mistake I see has nothing to do with those believe it or not...
The biggest mistake people make is not giving the process enough time to see progress or reach their goals
Inconsistency- You don't get to only workout when you feel motivated and expect to see results like you work hard everyday.
You are tired. You are stressed. You are busy.
So are all the other people who are in good shape that actually do stick to their plan and stay consistent.
Their lives are not any easier. They have just developed the discipline and consistency to get them in the shape they are which is what you need to do as well if you make this mistake
Giving up too soon- It takes a long time to build muscle. It takes a long time to lose body fat. If you don't see immediate results do you think quitting will help you at all? If you feel like it is taking long to see progress towards your goals, are you eating healthy like you should be? Are you exercising as often as you should be? Does your workout intensity challenge you? If you are not doing these things it is no surprise why you're not seeing changes. If you are, keep doing it and give it time!
If not these can all be reasons why you're not seeing the results you want and this becomes very frustrating. Just because you go through the motions of a workout does not automatically mean you will get benefits from it. You need to exercise with intention. Dig deep and work hard
