The Cake Needs Time to Bake
If you want to bake a cake and the recipe calls for 45 minutes at 350 degrees, you can't crank up the heat to 400 degrees for 30 minutes and expect perfect results
This same concept applies to reaching your fitness goals
If you have goals that will take 10 months to a year to reach, you can't train extra hard or go on a super strict diet and expect to reach those goals in 4 months
It is unrealistic, it is cutting corners and it is unsustainable which will lead most people to giving up
If you go into your fitness journey with this mindset, you are setting yourself up for failure. The fact that you are looking to cut corners before you even start shows you are not doing what it really takes to get to your goals, and it also shows you will not be able to maintain the progress you make in the long term
Working out is a daily obligation. It might not always be fun, but neither is going to work every single day and paying taxes. That's life.
Whether you want to grow your glutes, your arms, lose body fat to finally see your abs, or get rid of your chronic low back pain it's going to take time and if you truly want to reach your goals it will take 100% commitment.
Not when you can find the time. Not when you feel motivated. Not when it's convenient.
