This Can Hurt You...
Modern day fitness has been hijacked
Fitness influencers and personal trainers used to be about helping people, inspiring them, guiding people in the right direction, offering advice...
Now it's become all about who can get the biggest social media following and get the most attention
Depending on who you turn to for fitness advice or motivation can play a big impact on YOUR personal growth
Stop fantasizing about people like Sam Sulek, Bradley Martin and Larry Wheels
These are examples of people who are in this space for their own self gain; to make a profit, get attention, gain more followers or send misleading messages... But do they really have any value to offer the average person looking to become fit or healthy?
Focus more on people and companies such as AthleanX, Squat University, Mind Pump and 1st Phorm...
Not to say these people and companies don't earn a profit and make a living from their work...
But the biggest difference is they are truly looking to help people by spreading a positive message and information that have their viewers best interest in mind
It's fun to watch someone with a crazy physique like Sam Sulek, Bradley Martin or Larry Wheels but what do you gain from their content?
From what I see and hear, lots of young people aspire to grow up and be like these "influencers", but that is very dangerous... And it's gotten to a point where I'm concerned for people's health
These people are clearly on performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) and steroids... Which is fine if that's their decision to do so... But these decisions may very well cost them their lives...
This becomes very dangerous for the average young person to "want to be just like them"
Work hard, work smart, do your own research and use your best judgement on who you take health or fitness advice from
