Top Factors Killing Your Gains

It's very frustrating when your training routine is locked in but you still don't see the results you're after 

 

Working out is only one of the many factors in the equation of losing weight or building strength/muscle 

 

 


The top factors killing your gains 

 

- Not getting enough sleep 

- Poor nutrition 

- High stress levels 

- Under training / over training 

- Not following an effective and efficient workout program

- Not staying consistent

- Neglecting form 

- Not pushing yourself hard enough 

 

 

These are some of the most common reasons I hear my clients tell me during our reassessments. Every 4 weeks we retest body composition, weight, caliper measurements, and exercise improvements (more reps, heavier weight etc.)

 

If a client hits a plateau, is gaining weight instead of losing weight, or is not noticing any changes, most of the time reasoning comes from one of the issues listed above

 

Life is hard. It is understandable people make mistakes and deal with lots of things in their personal life. The sooner you understand all of these factors will hurt you on your fitness journey the easier it becomes to avoid making those mistakes and reach your goals sooner! 

 

Don't beat yourself up from mistakes made in the past. Correct them moving forward
