Your Fitness Is An Obligation
"I don't feel like working out" "I'm too stressed"
"Fast food is convenient"
"I have other important things to do besides exercising"
When you look at someone else who is fit and someone else who is fat 100% of people if they had to choose who they would rather be want to be the fit person
Everyone wants the end results without putting in any work
We live in a convenient and instant gratification world
Forget how you feel. Wake the monster up inside yourself and do what needs to be done to get you there excluding your emotions
Whether you know it or not there are many people who look up to you in life
If you sit there and say nobody looks up to me, any time you go out in public several strangers are secretly judging you. They can either judge you for being average or they can judge you for looking jacked. Which one would you rather experience? What about people closer to you like your spouse, kids or family? Don't you want to set the best possible example for those people so they grow up in a similar manner?
When you get fit you carry around a sense of self confidence EVERYWHERE you go because you know all the work you put in to get yourself to that point. When you are out of shape you carry around guilt or shame because you know that you are making poor life choices
Go against the norms
If you are out of shape, you will require medical attention. If you need lots of medical care, you will be heavily involved with big pharma. If you are lazy and out of shape you will be a mass consumer of garbage food and entertainment.
None of these things are good for humans in excessive amounts but that is how the world is set up to be nowadays
Glorifying out of shape people, eating fast food daily, watching hours of TV and scrolling on your phone, and not exercising should all be rejected by the world but it is easy and that is why so many people in today's world do all of these things.
Get in amazing shape. Work very hard. Be productive. Eat healthy. Live in the real world, not an electronic world. Be a good example for the people around you.
Do it for your entire life as well. So many adults say "I'm too old for that." No, you're too old for many things because you DON'T workout. There is no cutoff to where you can stop exercising because you are too old. Take care of the body you live in and it will take care of you.
If you do all of these things your life will significantly improve
I used to be guilty of doing all of those things. Eating like shit, not consistently working out, binge scrolling on my phone... Once I made changes and developed discipline in my life my depression and anxiety dropped lower than it's been for as long as I can remember.
Developing a healthier lifestyle will help your mental and physical health more than any pill ever will.
